Thread: Krabi / Phang Nga as alternatives to Phuket

Hey again forum people,


I've posted before about arriving with the missus soon and that we want to check out Phuket before "settling" for work in BKK. It's been suggested to me that towns such as Krabi or Phang Nga offer fantastic alternatives to Phuket. Good salaries, minimal crowds compared to Phuket and so forth. Yes, I've seen the Phang Nga section in the region guide but it mentions Krabi as a possible good alternative to it without really going into much detail why.


Can anyone who has lived/worked there, or is currently there, hit me up with some local knowledge? Job market? Salaries? Which you prefer and why?
