Hi, I'm making the leap into math teaching. Anybody know of any good websites?
I'm looking in particular for lesson plans, discussion of lesson planning, and secondary sources (stuff that might be interesting to students to give them some context to what they are working on.)
Sounds like you might be biting off a bit more than you can chew. With that said, you can check out these sites:
I-Maths: Teachers' notes: Functions and Formulae
Java Triangle Puzzle: The (Java) Triangle Puzzle
AAA Math (great geometry lessons): AAA Math
Math.com: Math.com - World of Math Online
A-Plus Math: Aplusmath.com
Online Math Activities: Math
--- Good luck

You can also check the Resource Pool for math links.
