That was the absolute worst PDF I have ever seen so I downloaded the original scans and rendered a new searchable (OCR'd), non-rasterized and optimized PDF. It's bigger (25MB) but far better quality and it doesn't bring your cpu to it's knees trying to render all those images. Here is the Rapidshare link to download it:

^ so that was the problem (???). I was wondering why it said "2 hrs 39 min" to download for a pdf file! Trying this one now...though you did say it's bigger...ain't that too long for downloading a pdf tho?

Naah 25MB on broadband should be a couple minute download. The slowness I was referring to is when you try to actually use the smaller PDF from englishtips. It's a crappy rasterized PDF of images and not even optimized.

Forgot to mention that you will need the latest version of Acrobat (version 9.x on Windows, Mac has built-in support) to use the one I made.

Sounds like your internet was just having a bad day or spell when you tried to download the first time Matthew.
