Anyone use Powerpoint Jeopardy in the classroom? I can't seem to find much on the net, mostly just templates. I am going to write my own this week and will upload them if it's possible. If anyone has some completed presentations please feel free to share them.
Thanks in advance
I've done standard Jeopardy and it's always been a hit. Any particular reason why it has to be done in PowerPoint or is it just a personal preference?
Yeah, one of the schools I work in has pcs, projectors etc in the classrooms. It's really easy to plug in a usb with lesson content and get started straight away. The students also seem to be more captivated by projected text than my handwriting and like I said it saves time.
^ fair enough. sounds cool anyways. i just sometimes worry about folks using technology just for the sake of using technology. good luck.
pm me your edress. i've got a few done.
I just sent you a PM. I have been wanting to do this with my primary school science classes. I don't mind writing the content, but I would really appreciate a nice, snappy template to get started from. Looks like a really engaging way for kids to review content.
By the way, I played "Taboo" with my students the other day. That can be a nice review tool, that really forces kids to use the language.
Well a couple shots of whiskey women 'round here start looking good,

Yes and my number one occupation is stealing women from their men
I've been using them for a couple of years. They are great! I usually do it as a review with the girls playing against the boys. Most of mine are P4 or P5 Science or Math, but I think I have a couple of English ones as well.

And I thought that it was just a car!
I've used it for 3 years for review games, I made my own for one of my classes in my Education classes for my BA, I have since found a couple online, but I generally prefer mine--though there is one that I found that was a tweaked version of mine that a former classmate posted on ESL printables. I'll try and upload from home, it's not working here....unless I have to have 50 posts or something to do that too.

I tried to attach some of my Jeopardy PPs, but they are almost all too big! All of my Science and Math ones are 5 - 7MB, because of all the pictures.
If this is successful I will have attached a couple of 4th grade English PPs. At least one of them is unfinished, so you might want to finish it or change it around before trying it out. Also, you might want to check the hyperlinks. These work in Office 2003, but if your school has Office 2007 or Open office, the hyperlinks may not work correctly.
You will need to click on the purple arrow to get back to the main screen. If you click anywhere else, you will just go to the next slide.
Nice, greens all round. I'll try and upload some of my own next week.
