Good point. And that is exactly what sickens me about American politics. One side smells blood in the water and they're all over it. Do whatever it takes to discredit the opposition. This latest story with the Governor of Illinois. The RNC is desperately trying to tie him to Obama.
Here's where you and I differ. I think the Republicans are much better at, and spend more time at, attacking and trying to discredit Democrats. How much time and money was spent throughout the '90s trying to bring down Clinton? For what? Cause he lied about having sex. Questions that should never have been asked in the first place. I remember reading a quote from a French newspaper during the Lewinsky crap that said, (I'm paraphrasing )"Why with all the problems in the world today, does America insist on looking through peepholes for their news?"
