Huckabee drops out!

Well, looks like McCain has clinched the nomination. Mike Huckabee is giving his concession speech right now and urging the republican party to unite. I kinda like Mike Huckabee in a weird way, he seems like a nice guy when he isn’t saying crazy stuff about changing the constitution to model more closely his religious beliefs.
Huckabee drops out!
Huckabee is likeable. He's personable.
But he's very Xtian.
He can talk with us non-Xtians, but when he speak to Xtians he is totally different.
I don't like Xtians; I don't like right wing religious people.
The '"Colbert bump" couldn't save the Huck...
If McCain has any hope he should beg Huck to be VP. McCain has zero personality, and he needs someone with a big one on his side. Plus, it surely wouldn't hurt with the conservatives.
I think he might pick CA's governor as a VP.

McCain is a good man, I'm glad he won. A principled politician who runs a clean race. The first Republican nominee in a long time that I have a good feeling about. Nixon, Reagan, Bush Sr, Bush Jr.... hated them all. Shifty, untrustworthy, nasty people.

McCain's a party-politician who will do the same that any Democrat president would do - increase State taxes and regulations, reduce personal freedoms and opportunities, and grow the State.
Of course we US citizens all hope to luck into the new State freebies and privileges promised by the politicians. This is a futile hope.
Then there are those few that revel when the opposition is driven from the public trough to be replaced by their preferred political agents. Public hangings used to entertain these folks. Politics is now their circus.
