Nicely put. And I'm thinking that what we might be watching for is such a "major' scandal at some point very soon. I mean, would Hillary still seriously be fighting this hard if she didn't have some nasty stuff up her sleeve? That's my thinking in any case. What oh what could it be?Here is the better question: What are the odds that a major scandal breaks out in the Obama campaign? I'm talking one that makes Obama totally unelectable. That is precisely Clinton's odds of winning the nomination.

West Virginia votes tomorrow. There isn't much info. to go on here, the limited polling that has been done however suggests a huge Clinton victory. The demographics are tailor made for a Clinton rout, but I find it hard to believe it will be as big as the limited polling is suggesting (ie 35 points or more).
Here's my prediction:
Clinton by +24
Is this Clinton's last hurrah before gracefully exiting the stage? I doubt it, but it will probably be her last chance to leave without looking...less than magnanimous shall we say? Obama will claim the majority of pledged delegates in the next round of voting May 20th. Sticking around after will just be flat-out awkward.
Random factoid: Since the voting on "super Tuesday" (Feb. 5th), Obama has gained over 100 pledged superdelegates, to Clinton's roughly15! Her favors have all been called in...

Obama passed her this morning with one more superdelegate.

more states left to vote and when they are done, the votes will be tallied and then we'll see. If he has more, he'll get the nod at the convention.

The media are a fickle bunch.
And I'm thinking their presumption isn't going to do Obama a whole lot of good. The folks in Oregon and other states yet to decide probably aren't going to take to kindly to the media "calling" this before its a done deal. Same thing applies to the superdelegates methinks.
I know the fat lady is heading for the stage and the sound system is turned on, but I haven't actually heard her sing yet.

Hillary needs to get out sometime in June.
The longer she stay in and makes her comments the higher her negative rating will rise, IMO. I cannot stand the siter of her. She is a snake. Pathetic.

Nixon used to wonder at the ability of Bill Clinton to survive...they have spent $11 million of their own money on the campaign...either they are bloody rich, bloody stupid, or bloody cunning...I guess we will find out in time.
o.k. how about a conspiracy theorist’s opinion on this. The Billderburg's had Bill's back before he even began campaigning for president.
Hillary and Bill keep saying that something could happen between now and the convention. Hope it isn't what happened to the horse that she bet on because Obama's better than McCain and Hillary, IMO.

though, during the 90's there was a lot of talk on conspiracy theory sites also about the following story before and during the Whitewater investigation. don't hear about it much anymore. It's just some connections being made between the Clintons and hundreds of people associated with the Clintons ending up dead. just some conspiracy speculation

When the race came down to a two horse affair, in my mind I was thinking "Is the essentially white establishment actually ready for a coloured president?".
I still can't entirely shake off that idea.
I'm presuming that at this stage in the race Mr. Obama is getting the absolute best service that the security folks can provide. There are an awfull lot of Americans who regularly carry firearms and a whole bunch of racist types, particularly in the south.
We can only hope that nothing seriously unforeseen occurs as were anything serious to happen the consequenses for America would be immeasurable.
I'm not really talking conspiracy here. More dynamics.
