I really don't think so. Maybe I am just being naive, but with the economy and the dollar in the toilet, the nation at war, and so many other big issues, I just think this election will be decided more on ideas than lame non-issues like flag pins and preachers. Maybe I am just being way too optimistic.
Oh, and Obama is wearing a flag pin now. Probably better for him in the long run to just cave on this and get it out of the way than argue the (albeit obvious) point that wearing a flag pin basically means nothing.

Obama will skewer McCain with his "don't vote for more of the same' line, I hope.
An elderly woman in an ATM queue said to the man behind her, "Excuse me, could you help me to check my balance?" So he pushed her over!

Agreed. Obama was clearly right in saying that wearing a flag pin does not make you a "patriot". At the same time, I think in the end he was also right to drop the point. He probably just came to the conclusion that the argument wasn't worth the airtime it would have sucked up over the next six months.

Michelle Obama may be th straw that breaks the camel(jockey's) back.
I think either Barack or Michelle would make a better president than HillaryHillary is finished friends, at this point it's just about saving face. Obama needs about 20% of the delegates to win the nomination, that's if "x" number of superdelegates don't just pledge to his camp this week. Last night he all but gave a victory speech, while positively commenting about Hillary. Hillary also gave a speech last evening saying several positive things about Obama. It's clear the Democratic party has stepped in and told them it's over, and it's high time to wrap this thing up in a civil manner.
The only question is who should be Obama's Vice President? He could use someone who has some pull in the South. I am thinking John Edwards.
he needs less than 70 now the way I see it reported from CNN.
