You raise an excellent point, keeshou. Who does they turn to when they want to whip up nationalistic enthusiasm for the war machine? The established mass media, of course. Disney Coproration played a huge role in promoting racist dehumanization of the Germans and Japanese during World War Two.

Re: 9/11 Redux
Preposterous it is, that supporters of the official story say that those who question it aren't interested in the truth.

No. I think it is more like this:

I'm neither a supporter of any official story nor are you someone who is interested in questioning your beliefs or in finding the truth. If you were you wouldn't be interested in just one hypothesis and trying to find facts that only support that belief, but you'd be looking at the facts impartially and then finding theories based on the evidence.

Re: 9/11 Redux
agreed that we aren't experts on what brings down buildings, but I'm curious Keeshou as to what hypothesis you support as to what happened on 911, in general.

I really don't have one. What I know is that two airplanes crashed into the buildings and then the buildings came down my nephew was killed trying to do his job (he was a fireman) and his 5 year old will grow up without a father.
If there was an elaborate plan in addition to orchestrating two fully loaded airplanes into crashing into the towers, the amount of manpower unnecessary to carry it out would leave too many witnesses and the result being that the building fell down or fell down faster?
Why take those kind of risks when the only thing most people remember was the sight of the planes crashing into the towers?

Even it happened HOW we were told, that doesn't really prove the WHO we were told does it?

Re: 9/11 Redux
^yes, sorry to hear of the loss of your nephew keeshou. seems that would make you want to question things even further.
follow the money:
Quote:
To prepare different levels of government and the public for the wars – in Afghanistan and Iraq – these giant internationals use think-tanks like the Council on Foreign Relations, and pay it enormous amount of money. And so happens that officials are bribed and the public is bombarded with lies and falsification through the media.
For strengthening the conjunction of governments, finance capital and the arm industry, and to exchange the experiments and tricks between themselves, high ranking officials, administrators and executives are passed up and down continuously from banks to governments and to companies and vice versa. For instance, two of major Bechtel executives served as Secretary of State and Secretary of Defence in Reagan Administration. George Schultz, former Secretary of State and former Bechtel president was a strong supporter of war against Iraq and so was Dick Cheney who left Halliburton to serve as vice president in G. W. Bush’s Administration. As another example, on February 26, 2001, Northrop announced that Lewis W. Coleman, ex-chairman of the Bank of America Securities L.L.C, became a member of its board of directors.

Re: 9/11 Redux
Keeshou, or others, not trying to be funny here, but seriously what evidence do you think there is to support the official theory that 911 was a conspiracy by BinLaden?

I've never said I believe I know who did it. I'm just willing to say that the evidence is not strong for either of the two official theories (at least that's what it's now become) put forth.
Evidence
