One hears a great deal about the Jewish suffering in concentration camps and still the money claims are being pursued by descendants of the victims. Is it not about time the Jews stopped being so vindictive ?

Possibly some of the resources that have been poured into the suffering of the Jewish dispora at the time could be allocated to also highlight the suffering of the homosexuals,captured resistance fighters, the mentally and physically retarded the gypsies and assorted political opponent of the Nazi regime along with many other groups.

They too deserve a memorial and are they not entitled to compensation as well ?

The Jews were not the only victims of the Nazi's, sadly the Jews didn't get up and fight did they ?

The monied Jews bought their freedom and sod their poor fellow Jews

I am not anti Jewish as you are trying to imply,I am stating the fact that the wonderful propoganda machine has made us loose sight of the big picture.

Possibly I should launch a campaign for compensation for my late fathers mental suffering as a result of his wartime injuries both physically and mentally which indeed did place a strain on my early life as it did with my mother too,

No forget the others who suffered in the war all we are ever reminded of is THE JEWS.

Actually, FSB makes a good point. It wasn't just Jews back then but gypsies, communists, resistance fighters (they were the first ones 1938 Dachau BTW) but lets talk about the Jews again far more interesting than the 20 Million who were killed under Stalin, mostly non Jews anyway.

Yes indeed a good point I was remiss in not mentioning the victims of Mr.Stalin and of course we should not forget the great Mao Tse Tungs efforts too. Next door Pol Pot and his friends were pretty good at genocide too.

But they don't have that uhhm little history behind them. The Genocide was something horrible and the some elements in the Jewish communities used it to further their own goals. Smart political move I would say.

The Jews have suffered discrimination. But.....

We should keep in mind, that 60 million people died in WWII.

About 6 million were Jewish. The other 54 million that died, mostly civilian, were not Jewish.
