I am against a boycott of the Olympics. Sad to see they are being staged there. But such is life. For the first time ever I dont know one person going to the Olympics. Nobody is there. I really dont think the athletes care either.

Why sad to see them there? Would you be sad if they were in the States where similar things happen in regards to human rights etc.? Albeit on a smaller (I think) scale.....don't blame the people, blame the government.

Watched Rob Riggle there yesterday.....the Chinese peeps looked quite happy and that!!! Getting on with their lives etc. Fuck loads of Western ressies etc. though!

Lets agree to disagree on this one. Having been part of a Chinese family the last 18 years has warped me. They think 180 degrees different than I do on any subject.

Never one to dispute personal reasons or experiences mate.....well!

I just think if there was a thread called 'fuck America' or 'fuck England' people would be a tad miffed (LoL...or has there been?).

I have no problems with the Chinese people, I just dont want to be around them. Looking at the attendance and hotel stats during the Olympics it seems many agree with me.

I don't trust the Western media so don't really trust the stats!

You have never hung with real Chinese people have ya? Dont you ever believe China is communist anymore. The government may call itself that but the production sure as the hell is capitalism. I would have not a problem one if old Mao was still around keeping them on the up and up.

Try getting married Chinese style. Money is every other word in the ceremony. Not a mention of love one.

Sorry mate....I have also met some proper Chinese people(albeit over here) from parts of China...they seemed okay to me.
