I do not have any prejiduces that I nurture. Even when I come across somebody who`s background is one which I continually have conflict with, I tell myself before meeting them, "Okay this is not a Texan (just the example), this is a person" and I give them the same chance I would anybody.

Unfortunately, Texans continually prove my prejiduce as merited and the only Texans I can think back to having positive experiences with, were from Austin. But, regardless of all that, I will still give Texans a chance, I just won`t visit anywhere in that state aside from Austin.

Alright ScienceGuy I have had enough of reading your snide know-it-all comments on threads.

You are going to judge all women as putting careers before children because some thick bitch from Texas left her child in a car to die? I am sorry but that is not the majority of women. Jeez some guys will make any excuse to take a pop at women being too career minded these days. It is the 21st century not all women are tied to the kitchen sink washing the dishes and being perfect stay at home mothers whilst you get your arse home shouting "HONEY I'M HOMEE!"

Question should be how can anyone, any mother be so stupid. Has nothing to do with being from Texas. Most of us won't even take our dogs with us in the summertime. I do not understand why forum folks have the need to judge countries and states by the actions of a few. I am sure there are "stupid" in every country in the world. Even Canada.

I agree with the statement above. Could we start a post that we call "Why are people so stupid?"

I said before that I`ve had lots of bad experiences with Texans, I won`t deny that, but this woman leaving her kid in the car has nothing to do with being from Texas.

There are a lot of people in Texas (it`s the second largest state). There are a lot of stupid people in the world. Hence, there are a lot of stupid people in Texas.

But I still don`t want to visit Texas

Mississippi is the worst, absolute worst. Tennessee and Alabama are just a notch above, but not a big notch above. Nashville though is nice. Driving through Mississippi is like driving through a third world country. I rather like Dallas and the Highland Heights area where my father resided for a while.

Well, there are plenty dumb people in Texas, but being that it's part of the South, that's to be expected. Something about the accent lowers your IQ at least 10 points.
