the more i read about this....i just cant see a way beyond it.....this is not going anywhere anytime soon

1. a baby named Trig was born. He has downs syndrome



born on april 18, 2008 about 6.30am

2. palin's baby trig, is not hers. its her daughter Bristol
3. her daughter was pulled out of school for 4-5 months for "mono related illness"
4. palin actually scheduled talks in other places in the states, planned just days before she was due (she lives in alaska)...and then she went back to work ONLY 3 DAYS after giving birth, among other odd behaviors:

This was not a mother's typical visit to the office to show off the new baby; instead, she was serving notice that a child of special needs will not hinder her professional commitments.


"It's a sign of the times to be able to do this," she said. "I can think of so many male candidates who watched a families grow while they were in office.
"There is no reason to believe a woman can't do it with a growing family. My baby will not be at all or in any sense neglected."

1) Was this fifth pregnancy planned? If not, why the hell not? Was she just trying to prove some misbegotten point that she could run a state and breast feed at the same time?


2) If she knew, because of prenatal testing (most likely amnio), that she was carrying a child with Down’s — who are at very high risk for heart defects, AND was also at high risk for premature labor given her age — what in her right mind would have her accepting speaking engagements half a day BY AIR from her home? And then FLYING BACK when she was in labor, instead of going to the best damn high-risk L&D hospital where she was?
If these are the kinds of decisions she makes in regards to the health of her baby in uetero, I sure as h*** don’t want her making any kind of decisions on behalf of my kids up on the Hill.
