Al Jazeera vs CNN. What people in the USA don't see.

I am so dissapointed that Obama would play the usual politician when it comes to this situation. I thought he would bring the end of "politics as usual". Maybe they don't really understand what is happenning. Take a look at this.

What it looks like from inside GAZA and you don't see on CNN. Regardless of who is right or wrong (or who started it), How can you support something like this? Makes me sick to my stomach.

I'm afraid we might have to get used to that sort of stance as he gets settled in.

I do hope I'm wrong tho.

Can't have two different voices coming out of one White House. I think he'll have plenty to say and do shortly after January 20th.

Why would you think anything was truly going to change? The man and his administration will be a huge disappointment.

Just ask yourself if you know which lobbies are most influential in Washington.

With monkeys named Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Iran, and GITMO on Obama's back, I'd be fine to step aside and let the direct parties sleep in the beds they made for themselves...oh wait...

Anything will be an enormous improvement on the previous 8 years.

The sad thing is, Crude, I believe you are actually hoping for disappointment from the Obama Administration. It probably means more to you that your idiotic predictions come true than have Obama actually succeed in getting the U.S. out of the toilet it's in.

America will always look after number one. But Obama if nothing else represents respite from one of the most ideological and extreme U.S. administrations that the world has ever seen. I hear one of his first moves is legislation to curb the influence of lobbyists on the US government, this offers some sneak preview of his style and intentions.

I think Obama will be an improvement for sure. It is funny though, how the way I hear him now changed as soon as I decided to go outside the US media to see what was happenning in GAZA. If more people in the USA don't rely on CNN and the New York Times for their news I wonder if their view of politics in the USA would change.

One thing I know for sure is that "Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely" and I can't wait to see how this power will affect Obama. I wonder how much he will change in the next 4 years.

I firmly believe that Obama will build upon the success of the Bush Doctrine. Or eventually he'll realize that there is no point in negotiating with terrorists or terrorist organizations. If Obama has any skills at all he'll figure out how to neutralize any influence in Palestine by Iran or Syria.

I think that Obama is not dumb enough to use terms such as terrorists, but I might be wrong.

And what successes of the Bush Doctrine (like he had anything to do with it) do you speak?

Obviously your not referring to how he has sacrificed the world order that the US did so well to create post world war two and he presided over a three trillion dollar war and neo liberalist policies that have underpinned the global depression that we are about to witness.

Just what was successful about the bush Doctrine mate?

CNN? What's that? Asia Times, Al Jezeera, WorldMEETS.US, BBC, Democracynow, International Herald Tribune, now these are news sites.
