if you can say only 1 thing from this video, its that obama isnt intimidated by chavez. obama is certainly in the driver seat, and he knows it. id love to see a lip reader's take on what was translated.
just another example of him living up to his expectations.
I know the far right is already having a field-day with this. Gingrich and Prick Cheney have already jumped on the bandwagon, saying is shows weakness and sends the wrong message. Hmmm. Which image is worse, Obama shaking hands with Hugo Chavez, or angry mobs around the world burning an effigy of George Bush?
Let them dig themselves into an even deeper hole than they're in. I think Chavez had it right when he called Bush "the devil." It will be a remarkable turn of events if the US can restore normal relations with Cuba, and I'm hopeful that this administration is willing to move in that direction.Originally Posted by kingdomcome

In Bush's defense, after 9-11, early intel reports indicated that Osama Bin Laden was an avid golfer. We all thought Dubya was just fucking off on the golf course. He was really looking for Osama!
