FRT: I agree completely that a board needs differing views and opinions. The problem with Golani is that he doesn't have any views or opinions. His relentless cut n' paste jobs, make it very clear to me that he's merely a vessel for other peoples views and opinions.
He never admits when he's wrong, never backtracks and never gives an inch. That is not a debate IMO. It's bashing your head off a brick wall. Actually... that's unfair... I like brick walls.
One thing I would say to Goani is this.....
You talk about a double standard... you mention that their were constant threads about Bush, Palin and McCain using inflamed rhetoric, unsubstantiated claims and out-right nastly attacks. You've said yourself that these threads were just stoopid liberals trying to tear down someone that they just didn't agree with.
You then go on to defend your posts by saying "If they did it, why can't I?'Therefore... your likening your own actions to those that you hate.

he's always done the cut and paste, though maybe more recently. though, he also started a thread about his neo-con views, defending them and he and i have had multiple hundred post debates about u.n. law and palestine, etc.
anyway, there are usually quite a few posts on his threads of posters debating him or simply telling him to shut up and calling him names. either way, it's the soap box and i guess that's what happens in the soap box. would be pretty easy to just not open a thread by golani, if one wishes, right?
and, then start some "better" threads in the soap box yourself as there really aren't that many posters on AF who start threads in the soap box.

Defending Palestine is defending Hamas. You have done so in your anti-Israel related posts and have referred to Israel as murderers who on a mission of ethnic cleansing when it is in fact, defense from annihilation.

not much, talked about working with filipinos at his school and being married to a filipino, if i recall correctly. and another situation he had at his school once.
though, anyway, there have always been posters who are more interested in the soap box, like eso (too bad he doesn't post here anymore) and milkman, etc.
