I actually count 17,000 injured, because 4,000 thousand have been injured in non-combat related boo-boos. My logic is, if they were never in Iraq, they wouldn't have likely been injured.
Nonetheless, when the Americans hand over security to the lackadaisical and untrained unemployed men it will be full-on civil.
And don't forget about the Kurds, too.

The American military that have reportedly died in Iraq are just that, those who have died in Iraq. If they die in the plane taking them to hospitals in Germany or die in the hospital they didn't die in Iraq and are therefore not counted as having died in Iraq.
The actual count of those who have died as a result of the war in Iraq is much higher.
Be aware of the propaganda.![]()

now, now, gentlemen. don't forget that freedom is on the march. :puke:
"Extending the war into Iraq would have incurred incalculable human and political costs. We would have been forced to occupy Baghdad and, in effect, rule Iraq. The coalition would instantly have collapsed, the Arabs deserting in anger and other allies pulling out as well. Exceeding the U.N.'s mandate would have destroyed the precedent of international response to aggression we hoped to establish. Had we gone the invasion route, the U.S. could still be an occupying power in a bitterly hostile land."
-- From "Why We Didn't Remove Saddam"
by George Bush [Sr.] and Brent Scowcroft, Time Magazine, 1998
Current Iraqi dead........26 559 and 100 000 injured.

All deaths are sad, unless the person deserves it.
How many could honestly say they would miss Bush and his Cronies in power if they died? Millions around the world would celebrate. Hell I would throw a party if that Pee Pee Head died.
The world would be happy with 5 deaths, but we are not happy thousands have died.
Each person who fights, really doesn't want to fight. It does remind me of when the UK was under attack in WW2. We had to fight, because they were invading, which is no different to what the Iraqi's did. I support them in what they did to defend their own country. But by saying that, you would now say I am for Iraqi's killing "us" well yes I am. They stood up as much as they could to Bush. I am very sorry for the Coallition Soldiers who had to fight a war they did not. But as I said, I can see both sides of the story. It is a tragic loss on both sides.
All you cocks who think i support terrorism go have aas I do not.

I am interested in the Non American armed forces that have died out there - not Iraqi 's
Just plain old countries dragged into americas war of greed
Squirrel,
You can find all of the non-American casualties on the web. A google search will do it.
Most Iraqis welcomed us with open arms ! I really wish you wouldn't let the media brain wash you so easily. And what are your qualifications to put words into peoples mouths ?
You have a point, SK.Originally Posted by Storekeeper

I recently visited the U.S. as you know and many major stories regarding corruption, ghost Battalions, and mistakes, don't even make it on the televison news, which unfortunately is what most Americans watch.
I go to several sites on the web, and read the New York Times, Washington Post[, optruth.org, to get info.
Americans for the most part aren't aware of what's going on in Iraq becase 1. they are ignorant and mentally lazy, 2. watch TV and listen to the radio to get "passive" information, and 3. aren't objective.
Wiltmaster you are the Noob you do it for me get you some browny points.
