    an interesting snippet:

"The first year of the 70's was a year of turmoil. It was the year the music of the 60's died: The Beatles gave official word that they had disbanded. Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix went and started "that club" of young, lost musicians to die at the age of 27 from drug overdoses. Jim Morrison of the Doors would join them in '71, and Kurt Cobain 24 years later in the dog year of '94."

Cobain didn't die of a drug overdose mate. And Otis Redding (plane crash) exited at 27 before any of that bunch.

I take your point though. Could be a troubling year ahead for fans of Justin Timberlake, Britney and Ricky Martin.

Yes I believe it was a case of lead poisoning (administered through the end of a gun) that ended Kurt Cobain's life.
"We're all very different people. We're not Watusi, we're not Spartans, we're Americans. With a capital "A", huh? And you know what that means? Do you? That means that our forefathers were kicked out of every decent country in the world. We are the wretched refuse. We're the underdog. We're mutts."

Yeah I know, but I don't think the author said he died from drugs, just that he died.

From what I heard it was a self administered shotgun blast that killed Cobain, but I've always wondered if his crazy ass wife Courtney Love had something to do with it?? That bitch is whacked!

I was wondering myself who are some hot young rock stars this year in that age range... I think the ones you mentioned are too young, aren't they?

not to mention that I don't consider those people "rock stars"!!

Yes it was a bit of wishful thinking on my part.

I think the ones you mentioned are too young, aren't they?
I reckon Ricky Martin would be pleased to hear you say that. Surely he's older than 27? I would have thought the other 2 were around the mark too, but I'm probably wrong. Never mind, I'm sure we could make an exception in their cases.

Probaby bands like The Strokes and The White Stripes, that ones that you'd rather keep around.

Cobain didn't die of a drug overdose mate.
I read ex-FBI agent Tom Grant's book about the Cobain death. Grant was hired by Courtney Love to find him.

He now thinks that Cobain was murdered.

Who knows? But there are a lot of reasons that make his death mysterious.

What do you think, Johnny Danger?

Hired to find who?? If Cobain, wasn't he lying there in his apartment with his brains painting the wall?? So who was Courtney trying to find? A good lawyer, maybe...

I still say that bitch is whacked!

I'm a monkey. I guess that explains my having to shave my ears daily.
    Home remedies:
    1. AVOID ARGUMENTS WITH THE FEMALES ABOUT LIFTING THE TOILET SEAT BY USING THE SINK.
    2. IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.
    3. FOR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE SUFFERERS ~ SIMPLY CUT YOURSELF AND BLEED FOR A FEW MINUTES, THUS REDUCING THE PRESSURE ON YOUR VEINS. REMEMBER TO USE A TIMER.
