Finally got me that large jar of Marmite today and realized quickly enough that I've never had it straight off the shelf before .
Very nice refrigerated. I've pretty well been mainlining it since around noon.

what's the point of this thread? it's obviously all about the marmite.
get a nice, freshly baked loaf of bread, still warm, slap a good bit of butter on then spread yer marmite on niiiice and thick. thinly spread is for children and foreigners. nothing finer.
good to cook with as well, an excellent multi-purpose stock.
