About time the blacks had a loss. Just the kick up the backside that they needed.

Based on the Saffa-Aus game last Sat I don't think there's too much there for the ABs to be so worried about at the moment.

The B-Boks lost focus on Saturday.

But the Kiwis are famous for choking come the World Cup.

Our boys (SA) should be nicely rested for the WC.

It'll be a toss-up between the Aussies, Kiwis and Boks, with outside chances on the Irish and French.

Pumas might upset a few more bigger nations, like they have done in recent weeks..

Yeah course they would mate, not to mention the shite performance from Australia the week before when they beat the All Blacks. By the way, when was the last time Oireland beat the Blacks?
Or would you like to swing on a star?

you seem to have forgotten the beatings handed down to the aussies by the irish recently blackie?

the betting is close as well! ireland are 14-1, france 10-1, oz 9-1, boks 11-2 and kiwis 2-5

not much space there between the backmarkers huh?

Yes mate you beat us in Ireland last year when Connolly was doing his cunning experimentation with the squad ("Let's see, this week we'll play Giteau at prop, Larkham lock, Matt Dunning flyhalf....." ) and also the time before that in Oireland (?), but we hammered you in Australia (have you ever beaten us in Australia? ).

And yep, we had a crap season last year (playing well below our potential).

But in this World Cup year we've had wins against the two top ranking countries in the World. I'll take "shite performances" like that any day.

And the harsh truth is that Ireland are only the skinniest of outside chances to win the WC ( and that's providing about 3 or 4 other teams miss their planes ).

The Wallabies' record in World Cups and "big" games speaks for itself.

Don't agree with those odds at all btw. Far too short on the All Blacks and great value for France and Australia (I wouldn't mind picking up a piece of both of those!).

I think the odds are a bit too short on the Boks too (unlike the sideburns on the Munster lads), but that's just my opinion .

the boks were absolutely dire for the majority of the game and the kiwis just had to let ye win to give ye some false confidence for the big stage...

i'll tell you who won't win for sure....england, wales, australia or argentina.

if the kiwis fuck up then it'll be amongst the irish, french and boks

The Kiwis have only screwed up ever against the Australians, French and English. The Boks are always up for it and rarely surprise the ABs. The Wallabies have had their win and it won't happen again for a while.

Teams that beat the AB's have self belief. Aussies always believe in themselves no matter how misplaced it is!! Watch for Saturday week at Eden Park.
