that was an amazing TT by Razzy, fair play. valverde is spent for another year, beginning to wonder if he'll ever win it. the only hope for my team now is if perreiro wins it again which is a very tall order. i think its between razzy, evans and contalor now, today's stage finishes on a summer, plateau de beille, which is a mutha of a climb

I'm really glad He redeemed himself in the TT, he'll do fine in the climbs but can he hold it together again in the last Time Trial. Wearing the yellow jersey can really inspire riders to go way beyond what even they think their capable of.
Great to see Cadel Evans and this new guy Contador doing well, could be up between them and Vinko. Vinko, what about that ride eh? came back from 19th to 9th, He's definitely a hard bastard, that performance has spurned him on now, just watch him.
I'd say a podium spot ?

Aussie bias - Good to see Cadel Evans firing...especially after the horror stage last week when O'grady, Rogers crashed and McEwan crashed out of the race.

Amazed at Moreau 'giving up' over the last couple of stages...or is he injured (or got no heart/guts).

Yeah just watched the TT ,tonight at 10 is that gonna be a repeat of the TT or todays stage ? I'm looking at live coverage on yahoo! Eurosport. Vinko is struggling 3mins+behind Razzies group with 50 kms to go.

great stage... sadly, rasmussen didn't win it, but coming in second and minutes before your main competitors should do this time...

he was actually planning to participate in the Olympics both on road and on mountain bike...

the whole affair with the warnings from UCI et al. is getting more and more muddy... I hope he's clean and just not very good at paperwork...

oh and eurosport's coverage sucks now the legendary mentalist david duffield no longer commentates

Just one HC climb today but we are having the Cat 2 Portet d'Aspet where Fabio Casartelli died in '95.
Bulldog, who is commentating on Eurosport now that Duffers isn't?
Can Rasmussen survive in yellow or will Evans hit top form?

^evans looked dodgy yesterday, may lose more time today. the attacks have already begun, Vino desperately trying to get some time bonuses.

cant remember the guy who commentates now, never heard of him anyway. sometimes sean kelly is co-commentator but its just not the same without duffers

Sean Kelly as a commentator cool, but back in the day, when he was just starting out Phil liggett said he was the hardest guy he'd ever interviewed....so bad in fact that he nodded an answer on a radio interview!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

fair play to Vino, he's one hard bloke. shame he crashed in the first week, he might have won it otherwise..

its hard to see razzy losing the yellow jersey now. every time Contador attacks he cant get away from Razzy and today is his last realistic chance. cant see razzy losing that much time on the TT on sat

Bulldog, it's a rest day today. Vino is 28' 21" behind Rasmussen and with 5 stages to go, I would say that it is too far behind. Contador has 2 team mates not too far behind so if they work together they may be able to shake Rasmussenn off before the first HC tomorrow.
