Let gets to the point, Lakers better win game 2 or else it's going to be tough to win the next 4 out of 5.

Yes, back to topic. This game is huge. I'd say for the Lakers this is as close to a 'must win' type of thing as it gets without fully being one. Celts then would just have to steal one of three in LA and one more of 2 in Bos. That would seem to spell doom for the Lakers. But we'll see...
I would not be at all surprised to see the Lakers come out with a win in Game 2 while we're still all giddy from our wowie-zowie return to true basketball entertainment in beantown. Kobe.

I would not be at all be surprised if the Celtics win this game either, I just can't dismissed how good they can be, the 3 perennial All Stars of Pierce, Garnett and Allen.
I know it will be tough for the Lakers to win but if they want to make this a serious then this is a must win game. It doesn't matter if Kobe Bryant can score 40 or 50 points, Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom have to come out and play their best game in order for the Lakers to have any change to win this game.
I am looking for a decisive Laker's win tonight where Kobe, Pau, and LaMar put their man pants on. The best thing the media probably did for the Lakers was question their toughness. Usually athletes take that personally, and they have had a few days to soak up those negative criticisms. I think we are in for one hell of a series. This needs to go 7, because after this there are no real sports on until the NFL starts back up![]()
I don't think this serious last that long, I think it's only going to go to Game 5 and that's it.
An interesting moment for Kobe. Going back to 2004, he hasn't performed well in the finals, so a little bit of his legacy/reputation is on the line tonight.
Too bad I'll be dancing around the classroom all morning and not able to watch the game. Might be able to catch the 4th, hope so.
Lakers look dead in the water in this game. They aren't getting to the line and are failing to get in the paint. The officials also need to give the whistles a rest on both sides. I haven't seen a game called this tight in a long time, it's grueling to watch. It's the finals, they need to let these guys play basketball.
If you are at work you can hear the radio broadcast on ESPN, long time since I have heard anybody talk that fast.65-49 Celtics 3rd quarter.
Too long in Exile, too long not singing my song.

Too long in Exile, baby you just arent my friend.
Too long in Exile my friend, Baby you can never go home again.
79-59 Celts at the moment. It's a straight blow out, the Lakers are playing horribly. Maybe the worst I have seen all season. They are gonna need to win 3 straight at home to have a shot at this point.
I don't think a team's ever come back from a 2-0 hole in the finals.
The Celtics have played the best all year so it's only fitting they should win this thing. The Lakers appear to be overmatched.
If not the Spurs injuries issues, I think a Celts/Spurs finals would have been better. The best team for the last 8-10 years vs the reinvented Celtics.
edit: Wow, Lakers storming back...looks like we might just have a series here!

Lakers don't even look as good as the Cavs.
Celts in 4. So much for the battle of the century.
I actually do enjoy listening to the radio broadcast.
I like listening to baseball even more than watching it on TV.
Tonight, hopefully, I'll be able to catch the replay on UBC.
According to these SMSs from my bro in beantown, it was a fun game to watch.
I almost wish LA had done it, keep the high drama going....
Free throws.
L.A. 10-10
Boston 27-38
