The Barmy Army are having a ball...and Wellington on a fine day is a particularly nice place to watch cricket...I am not raising the white flag just yet...especially if the wind comes up...bowlers have a hard job running into the wind there.Originally Posted by Cyrille

Congratulations to the MCC. Well played. NZ are such grateful hosts inviting James Anderson down to practice on our wickets...well done Auckland Cricket Association...I don't think.
Now to Napier...probably a draw there.
...anybody watching?..seriously though Ryan Sidebottom has been a revelation.
New Zealand lost any hope of winning this test after the dreadful batting they exhibited yesterday. That was Ugly (yes, it deserves a capital U). They can only hope to hang on for a draw and their chances of doing that aren't looking so hot.

Congratulations to England on their test series win. The half hour after lunch was entertaining though. Tim Southee's 77 off of 40 balls was something special for someone on their test debut, eh?
Good one England.
Looks like you can. How's Sunday next month for you?Originally Posted by Cyrille
