Took a look at the table today and there are 4 teams basically in a dead heat for 4th if you take into account how many games they've each played: Liverpool, Tottenham, Aston Villa, and Manchester City. Who do you think will get the last champions league spot? I think Liverpool because Benitez said so. He guaranteed it.
I actually think they will.
They've got something like 20 points from the last available 24 isn't that right?
Not bad considering all the flak that's been aimed at benitez.
I don't really get what you mean about a 'dead heat' for fourth.
Liverpool are the team fourth. Spurs are a point behind them with the same number of games played. How are they in a 'dead heat' for fourth?
Man City are three points behind with two games in hand - also not in a 'dead heat' for fourth.

Yes. A dead heat is an exaggeration. "Tightly grouped" is better. Very close anyway. Quite close at least.
I think Aston Villa probably don't have as large a squad as the others so they would be the dark horse.
I note Manchester City have given up many more goals than the others but Tevez, and that tall African fellow who's name escapes me are players who seem to come up big in the big games. I feel that they rather than Tottenham are the team Liverpool will fear down the stretch.
^ I think Man City are still a work in progress, and Viera is a mistake.
I am going for the October Horse
If you are thinking of a bet, you should look at all 4 teams matches left and predict likely outcomes, including GD. Whack them on to a spreadsheet and see who comes out on top. No real interest to me, we would need binoculars to see them, and I don't like looking behind me either.
I hope Liverpool get it and Teflon man survives the chop again. Whilst Benitez is manager Liverpool will never win the league.
I think we will do it, but I say that every year.
bring back santini; he'll sort things out for you
By 2005 every previous resident of Warsaw had listed their temporary address as Portswood, Southampton, leading to it's appointment as capital of Poland. It is currently the subject of a hostile takeover bid from the home counties, particularly

I would love Spurs to get it but I reckon it will be Liverpool. Man City should be more than capable to finish 4th but lately they have lost a bit of drive. Porbably from losing the league cup semi final to Man U. It would be good to see another team rather than the usual our getting into the Champions League for a change.
Did you see Torres and Gerrard's reaction to Torres being substituted?
A shrug from Torres, Gerarrd scratching his head, basically " WTF??"
WTF indeed
Daniel Bedingfield claimed that his new album is what it would sound like if Sting, Stevie Wonder and Micheal Jackson were in a basement together - I haven't got the album so I'll have to imagine the sound of a blind bloke and a Geordie kicking the shit out of a pedophile.
Well, confident Liverpool predictions have died a death. Those who made them should apply for pundit posts on ESPN in Thailand. They are usually wrong, too.
Loox like all is on tomorrow nite.
Come on City for 2 reasons;
a; I'm a Gooner.
b; It'll piss off United if they're in the competition as it'll show how far city have come in a very short time.
