The self-proclaimed Baddest Man on the planet, Brock Lesnar had his ass handed to him in UFC 121.
In a word, annihilation.
The undefeated Cain Velasquez tore through Brock Lesnar in a career-defining performance, as he captured the heavyweight championship in the UFC 121 "Lesnar versus Velasquez" main event Saturday at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. The end came 4 minutes, 12 seconds into Round 1, as Velasquez reached the mountaintop just nine fights into his professional career.
4 more years!
First Meskin to hold a title, right?
Now downloading it to have a look. I wonder if the full thing will be on Thai tv?
In the age of political correctness, he's Mexican American.![]()
At 28, this guy could be around for a long time.

All 4 minutes and 12 seconds.
Speaking of short fights, did anyone see Dan Hardy get absolutely leveled by Carlos Condit last weekend?
Ugly knockout.

Brock Lesnar cannot take a punch. He has proven that his last two matches. Without going to the ground and pound he has nothing. He needs to join a camp of real fighters and learn what MMA is about. Also, yes I saw Carlos Condit beat the fuck out of Dan Hardy that was classic. He'll probably get a shot at GSP soon. I truly doubt GSP will even come close to losing. He's hands down the best and most well prepared fighter in MMA.
Silva was lucky not to loose in his last outing, i don't think he's the most well prepared by a long way. Further more i think his rule will soon come to an end.
Those that want to read whatever they can want all freedoms, but have to understand they can have freedom, but it must be within the law.
Silva is my favorite UFC fighter, but I have to say that I think GSP is better. GSP is much more well rounded. Silva simply doesn't have the wrestling skill necessary to be called the best and it nearly cost him his last match against Sonnen.
Sonnen should not have gone to the ground and he would have won IMHO. Silva was not in form for that fight at all.
Can't take a kick, either. Just watched him get taken apart by Alistar Overeem. Vicious kicks to the body dropped him in the first. He officially retired after the fight.Originally Posted by Capricious
