The Observer fans' network: end-of-season Premier League verdict | Football | guardian.co.uk
Always a nice end of season read as a die-hard fan from each premier league club rates their club's season, the highs and lows, points out of ten for the manager, worst fans, who they should buy etc, etc
Interesting reading. I note that Birmingham were voted as having the worst fans by no fewer than five participants. Could one say that a football team gets the fans that it deserves? Probably explains why so many people from the Second City support Manchester United.
I've been to many a Blues game and been scared to open my mouth - even though I'm a Brummie and sitting right in the middle of their supporters. There are good, well-behaved loyal Blues supporters of course but a huge % of their following are just sub-human scum.
---Update---
Well, Villa are a pretty well supported club. They far outnumber Birmingham I would say. And there are plenty of Villa shirt wearers who live a twenty minute bus ride from the ground but couldn't tell you what the inside of Villa Park looks like.
Man Utd
...Gary Neville? The flops No one – it has been a great effort by the squad.
