    The keeper misjudged it.

There was only a slight deflection.

    ---Update---

He beat the keeper fair and square.

    ---Update---

Maybe it was such a tricky shot by Walcott, he made the keeper misjudge it!!!

    ---Update---

There's nothing lucky about that, son!

    ---Update---

Why do I keep on updating?

    I actually didn't even notice a deflection.

    Now you're talking.

I think the keeper didn't see the ball till it was too late and he was leaning the wrong way and on his heels...not a bad strike by Walcott though. Welbeck's goal was certainly a thing of beauty. I'm surprised Johnson was given an own goal...seems harsh.

I actually didn't watch the match (only the highlights). But from what I've read, the result flatters England a little. I'm hearing Sweden were the better side for much of the match.

Just finished watching England vs Sweden. My tv picture is a bit shit and I can't handle the Thai commentators cutting in on my English commentary option on my telly, so I d/l and watch the next day. So far I've avoided any final scores....just hope it continues.

What a game! Theo! Theo! Theo!

Can anyone tell me why England managers prefer Milner (who has done fuck all for England) over Theo? Yeah, Milner is more defensive and knows how to close down space but...he's fucking useless for England. Always has been. Theo has had about 30 minutes in total of play in major comps and look at the result. I'm a gooner and biased but let me tell you this about Theo. He's a big game player. Look at his performances vs Barca over the last few seasons. Ok, Barca won the ties (although we did win at The Emirates), but Theo had them shitting their pants.

Theo must start the next game. Cole and Terry looked poor. Gerrard was poor second half.

This Euro tourny has been very entertaining so far. We need it after the last world cup which was utter shite.

I love Roy Hodgson. I think he's just a good all-round nice bloke. Is he good enough to be England manager? I don't know and I don't much care. He can't be any worse than the ginger water sipper, the Italian with eight words of English or the weather-girl bonking Swede. But there's a lovely twinkle in Roy's eyes in those post match interviews. And why not indeed? Even if we get mullered by Ukraine and we're on the next morning's plane home, we've already done as well as we expected to do. We got a draw against the 'mighty' France and we beat Sweden.

And let's not forget that we've done rather well compared to the Irish who despite their usual attitude of "come rain or shine, thousands of Irish eyes will be smiling and we'll have a guid craich in the town squares as we drape ourselves with the Irish flag and share a pint or three with the locals and generally be a credit to international football - have been absolute shite.
The worst job in Thailand must be the man who has to sit down with a blue marker pen and mark a number two on the two-baht coins to stop people thinking they are one-baht coins.

Yeah. Was never sure with the Poles but I thought the Russians were nailed on. How the Greeks got through I'll never know. Thing is, I was really looking forward to Germany vs Poland in Warsaw but it's not gonna happen. WWII has not been forgotten in those parts.

It's been a surprisingly good tourny so far. We haven't had a really good international tournament since Mexico 86 imo. I thought international footy was dead. It's back. Euro 2012 has been brilliant so far. Hope it continues.

    So who will win it?

Germany and Spain look difficult to stop. France look dangerous. England are starting to look hlaf decent. Even the Dutch might still qualify.

To be honest...I have no idea. Ok, fuggit....France.

the russians out that's a big surprise, but Poland was not a strong side and it showed the only class player they have is lewandowski but if u don't serve ur stricker in good conditions he can't impact the game. Germany 3 out of 3 as i predicted no problem, a little bit disappointed for the danes they deserved better. And how about the Dutchs how crap they were. goodbye. Tonight a big one, France is in pole position to finish first and avoid Spain and England has the advantage but the Ukrainians will give everything, might be a game worth watching.

    Not tonight - tomorrow night!
Probably worth watching from behind your hands, we do look pretty ropey at times. Walcott may not be available as a speedy super sub due to his hamstring. This game is set up nicely for Rooney to really show how well he can finish. Trouble is, he could be so fired up that he gets himself sent off again.

Just finished watching Spain vs Croatia after d/l. Both Spain and Germany were shitting themselves in the latter stages of their final games. Thought the Spaniards were under par but still deserved to win.

How much luck do those bloody Germans get btw? Denmark should've had a penalty in the last 10 mins and the German should've been sent off. That would probably have put the Germans out.

That's how good it's been. Every game has meant a lot and the games have been exciting on the whole.

Gonna d/l England vs Ukraine and watch tomorrow afternoon/evening (through my fingers and probably half pissed to try and take the edge off my fear).

I'm not making a prediction on that one. Only that even if England are in a qualifying postion late on, they'll make the English shit their pants right until the final whistle. Not looking forward to it, wish I hated footy so I didn't have to go through it again.

Rooney was poor, I have no idea why he should have gotten an automatic start as he has never played well for England.
Daniel Bedingfield claimed that his new album is what it would sound like if Sting, Stevie Wonder and Micheal Jackson were in a basement together - I haven't got the album so I'll have to imagine the sound of a blind bloke and a Geordie kicking the shit out of a pedophile.

I would have started with Andy Carroll.
