Malaise. The feeling they are doomed. It seems QPR may have lost faith in themselves.

Crewe had leapfrogged me into 11th place. Not one of my better weeks but the team is doing well in spreading the points around, so that in weeks where my choice of captain doesn't work out it isn't a complete disaster. Glad I replaced Tevez and RVP since their points tally doesn't justify the expense.

Using my Arsenal defence next week.

So we're back for another week's action. Thankfully I only have one injury.

So my question is whether to choose Fletcher or Gerrard as captain. I've plumped for Fletcher but Gerrard seems a dead cert for a good game this weekend against a Reading side who must be wondering what they are doing in the Premiership.

Well I think Fletcher might score on Sunday, but Gerrard isn't the points machine he used to be. Currently 3rd in Ajarn league and deciding wether Michu or Santi cazorla should be captain.

I thought about them both...but Liverpool are crap this year...especially at home...and Reading aren't that bad in comparison...Michu is a better bet...but he gets too many yellows...next time he is out...I have never picked Nolan as Captain...but at home to Southampton they are bound to score goals....and if they do he will be in the action...especially if Andy Carroll plays...but with my struggle to stay on Page 1 of AJF league I am bound to be wrong

I agree but this is a game where they really must get three points and Gerrard is looking like he could be the only player fit enough to score them.

West Ham did interest me and if I had Nolan in my squad I would be tempted to select him as captain, but Southampton have had their moments too.

Newcastle and QPR are both going to be interesting teams this week since they look like having their best defenders back on the field.

FFS. Mata. Ummed and aahed about putting him in today, but didn't want to do any transfers this week as I've lost a few too many points tinkering and my first XI still looks strong.

Cazorla my captain for today and three in attack due to Fellani's injury (Crouch, Fletcher and Ba).

Slaps head and hopes Fletcher gets at least ten points.

What I did was follow the blind statistician's rule...select your player with the best recent form...and who is playing at home...forget everything else...but it shows how bad my expensive players have been...Yaya Toure and Kagawa for example...byebye next week

Unless Flectcher and Ba score a couple each tomorrow I'm not checking my score. Leaky defence, poor midfield although Michu got a goal again. Fucking shite weekend for my team. Shocker.

I could easily have made the very same post.

Norwich beating Arsenal. I'm beginning to think there may be a Santa Claus.

I was right about Liverpool getting their three points...pity Gerard didn't have anything to do with it.

I know...I didn't pick that...I left jenkinson on the bench because I thought he wouldn't get much time...and I was right...he has to go now...find some dude who will be cheaper but at least get a point

Even Ba scored an own goal FFS

A massive 21 points for me. I think that's my worst ever weekly total in 3 years. Bale left out at the last minute. Fellani injured. Ba own goal. No clean sheets. Crouch, Ba and Fletcher not scoring. Disaster.

Even though there are CL/Europa games I've already brought in two new signings in Mata and Riise. Too angry to wait

    It gets worse.

I told everyone Cesar was a world class keeper. I figure him as one of the top three in the EPL and he proved it today by getting three points for an assist.

He is, naturally, sitting on the bench in my squad.

    So kick me.
