Through careful management and transferring I can now afford any player I want for next week...so naturally I think of RVP...until I look at both his points...and form...and find like The Scout says...that forwards aren't scoring as many points as midfielders...who are much cheaper...so I would probably be better off trading Torres for a cheap forward...and then get a really good midfielder...and then kick myself next week wjen RVP gets a hat trick against his old club

RVP is a waste of at least 3 million, full stop.

There is no guarantee he will play, which is always an irritation. Players like this are always going to play the European matches and as the season progresses, if the manager (the real one) decides Europe is more important than the league there will be weeks when RVP and his ilk don't appear at all. That's a lot of money to have sitting about doing nothing.

My choice of Bale as captain this week paid off with a total of 20 points but the defence were a shambles. With Ba possibly out this week I have some decisions to make....

Cesar in goal next week. This is QPR's chance to get off the foot of the Premiership.

Paddy Power don't agree with you...they have them on the bottom...all I can think is that their potential isn't enough to overcome the poor start

Yep.United are going to be like Liverpool in Rafa's day...mainly because they have so much talent up front

Looking at QPR I am wondering who is going to score their goals. Maybe Cesar can have another go.

One change this week, to midfield again. No more Villa players in my squad.

Man U look good for a few goals this week.

Made four (yes four!) changes as I got fed up with some of my team, particularly in defence. Went from 10th to 46th in a matter two weeks. Own goals, red cards, letting in four at the back...you name it.

In comes Dempsey (Cazorla out, seems to blow hot and cold), Begovic, Vertongen and O'Shea.

Interesting one about Demspey is that only RVP and Rooney have scored more that him over the last two seasons. He is now playing in an even better team so I fancy him to score a few from here on in. Only 2 per cent have him so he's now my captain.

Bad news is Mata is a doubt for today.

Good news is it isn't Howard Webb for the Utd vs Arsenal game

if you have RVP on your team, i wish to damn you right here and now.

he's RVP; he's playing at home; he's playing his former club; arse isn't with their first choice keeper; arse is without oxlade-chamberlain; he's RVP...

My team are after the uniformity award.

    There is one isn't there?

They all have two points, except for the captain who, of course, has four.

20 points from nine players. Even my substitute has two points.

Baines and Fletcher let the side down by dropping to one point each.

Looking forward to the QPR result. I might get another point there.

Nice to see Villa clock up a win after I rid myself of them.
