    Your favourite moment in football

What has been your favourite moment in football? And your least favourite?

Although there are loads to choose from, my personal fave is Stuart Pearce's penalty against Spain in Euro 96, and his face after scoring it.

Least fave: the England game in Mexico 86 where Maradonna handles, and then beats most of the England team on the way to his second. Did I not like that.

My favourite has got to be Sir Trevor's header in the 1980 cup final enabling the Hammers to .triumph over scum A*****l.

Least avourite? A lot ot choose from, the one mentioned above is certainly one, and I would rank with that both penalty shoot out losses to Germany. The one in the 90 world cup was really upsetting, as I'm sure we would have got revenge on the Argies in the final.
If I could do it all over again, I'd do it all over you.

Favourite: Denmark's win against Germany in the Euro '92 final - John Jensen scores his goal by hitting the ball "right in the arse".

Least fav.: Missing a penalty in a play-off match when I was 12... I think I cried

Favorite would have to be the Vikings coming from 27 points down against the Eagles in the 4th quarter to win!

Least favorite would be Montana's winning TD pass to John Taylor to beat the Bengals in the Superbowl!

I should have been more specific - no odd-shaped balls, please or padded cissy sports.

When Trevor Steven lifted a sublime chip over Bayern's keeper in the European Cup Winners Cup Semi Final to complete a 3-1 second half rout, after trailing to a 1-0 away goal at half time, and put us in our first European Final.

I was standing in the Gwladys Street that night. A night that has never been bettered for atmosphere or occasion  ...

brucie grob's 'jelly legs' in Rome '84. run a close second is dudek's version in istanbul.

gerrard's goal against germany after the nod down by ferdinand. hopefully the can produce more of the same this summer.

Ah, perfect timing! Michael Thomas for Arsenal, against Liverpool to win the league - 1989 I think. I didn't stop grinning for a week.

Least favourite - any penalty shoot out against the Germans.

I always enjoyed that one (was it at the Rose Bowl?) where the runner took a hit, got disorientated at mid field then to the wild encouraging screams from the home crowd ran the ball fifty yards into his own end zone to seal the victory for the opposing team.

I always thought that was vintage and would represent a true epiphany.
When being run out of town, get in front of the crowd and make it appear like a parade.
