Degrees have changed a lot in 20 years. I grad 1991 when poly were polys and about 15% of any age group went to Uni. Now its nearer 40%. It wasnt that long ago (20 years) when it was less than 10%. In the old days a degree was a degree. Now Thames Valley Uni sets A-level papres from the 80's as third year uni questions! Eveyone now knows a Thames Valley degree is far inferior to most unis or even HND's/HNC's. So when Thailand demands a degree it isnt asking that much really. 20 years ago it was a lot. now not much
