Don't thank god. Thank CNN.![]()
CNN's new slogan: We're running out of time so we'll leave it there. 24 hour news but no time to get the facts and ask the hard questions.
I was in a BTS station a couple of weeks agao and a guy behind the glass giving change for ticket machine had a nazi swastika badge on his tie. There was no mangement staff I could see around so I never reported it but it must have offended some non Thais or even Thais who may have noticed it
assume that this bill board was in the same frame of thinking as when time magazine names their person of the year, in a good way or bad way.
some people need to chill with all their political correctness.
that being said, thais need to realize the high degree of political correctness the west expects with regard to hitler.

Seems like a rather no name museum in a once trendy mall (but no more) got international attention to a lot of potential future customers.
United States Holocaust Memorial Museum: Propaganda Exhibit
“OUR STARTING POINT IS NOT THE INDIVIDUAL, AND WE DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO THE VIEW THAT ONE SHOULD FEED THE HUNGRY, GIVE DRINK TO THE THIRSTY, OR CLOTHE THE NAKED . . . . OUR OBJECTIVES ARE ENTIRELY DIFFERENT: WE MUST HAVE A HEALTHY PEOPLE IN ORDER TO PREVAIL IN THE WORLD.”
JOSEPH GOEBBELS, MINISTER OF PROPAGANDA, --1938
Perhaps the staff of the museum should watch Night and Fog. Link follows.

Saw loads of students dressed up in the full bifta at Triom Udom about ten years ago for a school play. I think they just see it as a fashion statement. From a Thai perspective, shit happens, people get exploited and offed all over the world. Life's cheap out here which is why so many die on the roads every day.
Dressing as a nazi stormtrooper is sanuk - don't yer see?
