Yeah, a mate is coming over next spring, it looks ok except I think it's geared towards people with no experience in LoS - cultural awareness training and Thai language instruction, the basics about living here, help with visas, accomodation etc. He's been here on and off for a few years, speaks a fair bit of Thai so doesn't need any of that stuff - just how to set up lessons and observe teachers in practice I guess.
Loaded sent me a PM about this...you should ask him, he seems to know a bit about SEE
I know John who runs the course.
I know there's a course running currently so if you're in CM, why not drop in and speak to the trainees. Alternatively, contact him directly and I know past teachers allow themselves to be contacted directly if you want feedback.
You can also go TESOL too, you know. This is Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. I know of one company in Thailand that has a pretty good two week course. I went through it myself, but they just don't seem to think this is important when visa time rolls around.
