"Most people on this forum know a HELL of a lot more about Thailand than you do and you don't listen, I really do hope you get a dream job in CM but I doubt it mate. The people on this forum are not tourists we have been here for many years and know the place."
And I take their opinions into great consideration. I have no delusions of knowing more about Thailand than someone who has lived here for 5-10 + years, I am not stupid.
I just will not simple take someone's advice as gospel. Especially if someone tells me NOT to go to an entire province. I know 3 people who have recently got jobs here. They are available, just for some odd reason, we have not been contacted enough.
So your advice to not go to Krabi because of lack of jobs, although in our situation could pan out to be true, is false in other recent instances- An example of why I will not take someone's advice as gospel, rather than careful consideration.
Take a chill pill Crew... fakebrock is right not to take everything said online as gospel. We all need to find our own way and sometimes it works out and other times it doesn't. The guy doesn't deserved to be slammed just because he went against some of the advice given here.
This is it... The apocalypse.

It's cool Hollow, I appreciate the kind words. I am a member of a message board far far far more chastising than this one, so I can take it![]()
Daniel Bedingfield claimed that his new album is what it would sound like if Sting, Stevie Wonder and Micheal Jackson were in a basement together - I haven't got the album so I'll have to imagine the sound of a blind bloke and a Geordie kicking the shit out of a pedophile.
Cream- are you in BKK?
Are there any "hip" areas 24-27 year olds could find themselves living. Maybe near some live music venues or maybe an artsy-er area?
Too long in Exile, too long not singing my song.
Too long like a rolling stone, Too long in exile
Too long in Exile, baby you just arent my friend.
Too long in Exile my friend, Baby you can never go home again.
ahhh nice.
One thing I am starved for in Krabi is live music. Sure there are like 3 places but its the same bands and they play shitty, overplayed american tunes. I want to hear some Thai Punk or something. I would imagine BKK is where to find it?
Is anybody on this board in Ao Nang or Muang Krabi?
The jazz bar near the stop on the bts between ratchatewee and victory monument has is nice, I'm sure others will fill you in better though.
Saxaphone?
Generally I would say that Vicorty monument and around that general area is the type of place your probably looking for.
You wont find better advice than this. The clock is ticking; you really dont want to be looking for work in Bangkok much later than this. Once we get into December there will be almost nothing available.
There's a decent music scene in Bangkok, especially if you like rock.
Do you have coke?
