Why do you think that keeping a sense of personal worth is equal to entitlement? Why is it childish to want to be treated with respect?
Why do you think my life is a living hell because I won't let people walk all over me like you do? ...and dude, doormats don't lose, they gain all the dirt and scum the bottom of a shoe is willing to give. Eat up!

I honestly am asking: why is there so much politics in English schools in Asia? Is it like this everywhere?
Childish, immature, puerile behavior of gossiping, ganging up on people, etc.
Maybe these two women have a different perspective, and/or a reason. Perhaps they are on ego and power trips.
Not all schools have these ego and political issues, but many do.
and why do I have to let people walk all over me just because I don't freak out over every litle stupid thing Thais are capable of?'''
So your goal is to be treated with respect from people who you think of as stupid monkeys? What's the prize there?
I don't get my respect from people mate...It comes from within and if it doesn't for you then you're never going to be satisfied because the the respect you think you're getting from others isn't real mate.
Like I do?...That's quite a leap there mate. So because I choose to take the path of least resistance that makes me a door mat...Ok got it...![]()

Weak exit mate...I'll remember in the future not to take you too seriously...evidently you don't either...
IMO, this is a very successful mental strategy.
It's the attitude and thought process I mainly use.
I do my best. I take it seriously.
But I know that I can (and someday will) be replaced by another instructor. I see myself as a private contractor.
The people that get too involved mentally or emotionally, often are let down, and suffer from it.
Oh I thought you were done??
so...we're embarking on the childish insults path now...well this is where we'll part company mate...you have at it...
Although pannies argument is warped and singularly myopic...he does reason quite well from his unique perspective...
You on the other hand are worth only one word answers...so consider this a gift...
For what it's worth, which isn't a great deal because it sounds like the job has been done. Because the sisters aren't Thai I'd take the passive aggressive approach. I wouldn't leave upon a suggestion. I'd be there for at least another year, or until that sacked me.
I'd enjoy every minute of watching both sisters getting madder and madder at my calm, none confrontational presence.
The result would be one of several things. They stop being silly because they realise that's what they're being. Other people start to see them for the witches they are, and they stop because the know this. you get fired and don't get the reference which is no big loss.
Those that want to read whatever they can want all freedoms, but have to understand they can have freedom, but it must be within the law.
I concur...so they've gone through 3 previous teachers with their antics...I'd see that as a challenge...stick it out and keep your nose clean and drive them to greater lengths whereby they uncover to everyone else just what little witches they are.
You've seen 3 other teachers cower and pack it in and they are still at it...why not try a different approach.
I'd do what CC suggests...

I don't want to sound callous (which of course is an announcement that I willl) but you shoulda' humped the sisters, or at least given it a good try. I don't care if they're heifers. You gotta do what you gotta do to protect your beefsteak. Diner, back to the pad to see your wonderful collection of fine Japanese etching and a nice glass of porto. Bob's your uncle.
