Stalking
I know....
You've been doing it for the past week or so....
---Update---
meltdown.............
Why not post something on the thread?
Be a Man..............
---Update---
I have a very good friend who will always play with something until he finally manages to break it...
Very aggravating....
But that's another story.......
Shall we get back to the OP.
It should and could be an intelligent reasonably objective discussion.........
That's the end of my comments...
Back to the OP....
I trust jonny that you weren't encouraging that behaviour.
It just could go a long way to explaining why there are now five Nigerians replacing the 5 farangs.
---Update---
Anyway...there is probably material here for a new thread in the classroom.
"What Should I do When Students Cheer When I enter the Classroom?
I think it has legs.

I just an email from a school that post jobs on Ajarn regulary, it wasn't just an automate response that someone reviewed my resume / CV etc. but apologized for being unable to consider me because of MOE (Ministry of Education) rules that don't allow the hiring of anyone over the age of 60, hmmmm..... really? anyone heard of this? New rule or what? Maybe that is why I get so few respones??

nah - go get em, bro. You've got decade+ ahead for your young ass.
Ah, you mis unna tann me...
If there actually is a MOE rule such as the one described by you...then you need to realize that MOE rules would be treated by Thai schools much in the same way traffic laws are dealt with by Thais on the roads...did you know there is a helmet law in Thailand?
Thais don't pay much attention to rules...so if your resume reads like your first post then the age rule they cited is most likely nothing more than a convenient excuse whether that rule actually exists or not...
...but I've given you the benefit of the doubt and assumed that your resume reads much better than your post so...what I'm saying is whether or not such a rule exists matters not...and we responders know for a fact that 60+ teachers do exist in Thailand...so you should just keep plugging away until you find a school who values your experience rather than viewing it as a hindrance...
...and stop paying attention to the excuses that you hear from schools...chances are you will never be told the true reason as that is viewed as very impolite in Thai society...

Perhaps you could give your resume/CV to one or two of your friends to peer review. There may be mistakes in it and/or there may be some things that don't make sense or are not relevant. Most people overlook their own mistakes when writing papers, etc. I've had friends look over my resumes and there is always something their eyes see that is worth editing.
I totally agree. Downplay your weakness(age) and sell your strengths.
