    Worthless? How so?

Are you trolling as your signature suggests or ...

Maybe PM me if you are coy.

    ---Update---

The MODs may object to "naming/ shaming".

    ---Update---

Particularly when it's an Ajarn sponsor.

Such as? Where are the best paid jobs? I always hear about these mythical institutes and teachers walking away with 100K a month - but rarely do I see this sort of thing for myself.

    ---Update---

Is there anywhere else to do the DELTA? I always find the schedule for the Distance DELTA to be unhelpful - it's never quite the right time.

I need to get started on it but no access to the reading list. How have other people managed?

Reading the practice of English language teaching by Jeremy Harmer and learning teaching by Jim Scrivener cover to cover would be a good start. Useful for all three modules.

    or

Get started on module 3. For that you have to design a course for a certain group of learners. So do some background reading on an area that interests you. EAP would be a good one to choose.

You just want to jump through the hoops of getting the qualification but you're worrying about getting the books before the course?

    Something odd there...

Perhaps, just perhaps, the place that you do the course will have a library with the books that you need. It's a million to one shot but it might just be true.

Have you ever been in a decent language school that didn't have a collection of books?

FYI, I contacted the BC many months ago to ask whether they had books from the DELTA list and the answer was 'no'. Maybe I shouldn't have asked a Thai person.

I can pat my head with one hand while rubbing my stomach with the other, simultaneously.

I am also gifted at alcohol drinking.
