Thread: Looking for a kids' teacher for freelance after-school classes nr Wong Wyan Yai

Dear Ajarners

There's some freelance work going after school in a very nice community centre in the well-heeled suburbs near Wong Wian Yai - West Bangkok. Would suit someone who lives in that part of town.

Two classes every Tuesday afternoon from 4pm - ages 6 and 9... small groups, up to 4 per class. Singing songs, chants, telling / reading stories, games etc... Quite a good rate of pay negotiable for the right person.

Mums have asked for more classes on other nights too. So there's potentially more work.

I've been teaching the classes myself so I'm looking for someone - initially, at least - who can work with me.

Usual drill - nice mums, nice kids. They want a well presented person, looks nice, fun, kind and of course knows how to keep the little people in order... sitting down and listening when they're meant to be...

Really I would like to find someone with a CELTA or other teaching qualification, lots of YL experience or has recently done a YL certificate and is looking for willing subjects to practise their new found skills on.
