I reckon housing allowances are just built in bullshit so they can fiddle the books. Why not just a straight up no bullshit decent wage?

For what it's worth I heard through the grapevine that a teacher at my school who was making 35000 is now being bumped down to 30000.

Then comes the complaints ... "Oh ... we can't keep on any good teachers here!"

I work at a government school and make much more than 35K, though it is a Satit and maybe they're different
