    How much for deductions?

    Hi-

About how much is lost to deductions on, say, a 30K salary? Does it vary significantly depending on the type of school? Thank you for any insight.

Tax should be ThB 1,000 pcm.

What is deducted and whether anything is paid to the government varies considerably from school to school.

I would add that the tax figure is based on an individual taxpayer not claiming for wife and/or children.

The tax is a tad light but as a ball-park figure it is not far off what I would expect.

At the end of the year you should receive form Tw 50 and PnD 91..check the figures actually tie up with what you received and the deductions.
