    Questions on hiring process

Hi all, I am planning on heading over to Bangkok in late February/early March as I understand this is considered the peak hiring season. I plan on living and working in Bangkok. Does this sound like a good time to go job hunting? The reason I ask is that I notice several posts regarding job hunts around this time of year. Should I make the trip earlier or later? Or does my timing seem to be okay?

Also, in terms of job hiring and health insurance, do they require some kind of physical examination (for the health insurance that is). Blood tests, physicals, etc? Just curious and would like to know what I have ahead of me.

This period is the end of the 2nd semester so it's a good time because some schools already know which teachers they're not gonna keep and being among the first ones to apply is always a good strategy, in terms of the medical, each school is different so they're not any absolute rules
