vBookie - Is it a good thing or bad thing?

I'm not a saint. I freely and openly admit it. I've said and done some terrible things and what started me on the path of this self destruction was GAMBLING.

It started when I was a kid, playing marbles. Sure, everyone plays marbles when they're kids (at least normal kids do, I'm not sure about Brits and their ilk). At first, it was a bit of a competition then it progressed to betting marbles on the outcome of the game and the next thing you know, I'm hooked.

This led to meet the other friends of gambling. That's right! You know, Mr. Drinking, Mr. Smoking and worst of all, Mr. Committing Vile Acts With Girls Of Questionable Morals for Money.

Luckily I came to my senses. I awoke one day to find myself in a sleazy Bangkok condo, without any money, cigs and two condoms that had apparently been reused, several times.

I realized then that things had to change and thus you see before you the man you see today.

Gambling is an immoral thing. It's proven to lead to worse behaviors and I'd like to suggest that AF remove vBookie for the sake of it's community. I'd hate to anyone else, especially 2Pac go through what I've had to go through. Don't we owe this to ourselves?

    Peace,
    Topper

There is no 'i' in 'team'.

There is however one 'i' in Rebellious.

Thanks! See, obviously you don't gamble Cyrille. You're eye is just too sharp. Good for you and I'm proud to say you're a fellow poster.

So, no one shares my firm belief that vBookie is a bad idea and will only lead people to committing more sins.

The Thailand teachers forum has spoken. I'll forgo any continuing further comments. However let me sow this tale of woe as told first hand by a friend and perhaps you'll rethink your stance.

The father and his two sons busted in the room, threw me up against the wall and just screamed at me, pointing at my ... little thing. They removed my condom and then made me gamble for the chance to have it back, explaining how nasty their daughter/sister was.

I figured it was a win/win situation as their descriptions of the vile acts the girl would do made me so "bothered" that I intentionally decided to throw the dice game. They quickly picked up on that and then started on how many men had used her like a mere receptacle for their reproductive urges. I knew this was just a ploy on their part, so I doubled my wages and quickly took them like a buzzard takes a 3 day old rabbit and thus regaining my treasured condom.

After a night of ravaging the girl like AO on prego or PB on a pork chop, the father knocked on the door and kindly invited me to breakfast. I was quite shy as I knew everyone in the family had heard us going at it and I knew those brothers of hers were gambling on every aspect of what was going to happen next...which oriface, times between "finishes" and whether she'd choke or swallow.

I was unsure how to approach the breakfast table. While I was proud that my performance was worthy for those masters to gamble on, I could sense the dynamic had changed.

After the breakfast, while sipping tea, the father finally shared how he'd won, I'd lost and how the whole family benefited from me willing to gamble for a lousy condom.

He first explained, "Dear fuckwit, my daughter doesnt' have any diseases so the condom you coveted was unnecessary, as only her brothers and I use her if our goats are too far away, so you were gambling for something you didn't need. What you should have done is suggested on a gamble whether or not I would bareback my own daughter." Why not put the "lack" of a condom in play and see how that changes the betting odds, thus putting you in the drivers seat. Instead, you gave the whole neighborhood a chance to gamble on your performances when you could have been gambling on my daughters and my performance. "

To this day, I carry that bit of wisdom with me everyday. "Why gamble for something you don't really need".
I firmly agree. Why gamble for nothing that you don' need.

I strongly feel that gambling is immoral and only leads people to other "unreal" activities.

    ---Update---

The next think you know you'll be drinking and smoking. I think its in the best interests of the teaching community here to remove such temptations.
