    I highly recommend Kolcata.

    Still elect communists from there.

    Nice mix.

If in Rajastan avoid the hash cookies.

    Jew watch on East Coast!

So many places, for little time.

So many thoughts, thoughts come and go.....

Rajastan sounds good. However, I ain't so into castles and forts.

As a traveler, I like to get into the heart of a place. That's why I am quite keen on Varanasi. I know it would be a shock to the system, but that's what I thrive on.

Oh you'll get lots of shocks in India

    ---Update---

    McLeod Ganj is interesting.

    Dalai Lama resides there.

    Lots of Tibetan activists.

    Prayer wheels. Lots.

Kashmir would be good. Srinagar and then on up to the Leh.
Theres a strong military presence, especially in Srinagar. Its not the war zone the press wants you to think. At least not when i was there.
You stand a better chance of getting killed in London or L.A.

How time's change ( I blame Bob Dylan for that) I had about 6000 guns pointed directly at me during the 90's when I did a six month stint
