Was just wondering if it is possible to get a temporary sim card for my mobile phone? I will be in Thailand this summer and want to be able to use my mobile. I cannot use the sim from China (too expensive and not worth it)...so I was hoping that it is possible to buy a prepaid one.
Anyone know if this is possible?

So I can simply buy a sim card for 300THB and I will have that much credit? Or I buy the sim card and then put credit on it? I have never done this before...What is the current rate per minute of talk time? Do you have to pay for incoming calls? Or does it just depend on which sim card you buy?

fency, you can google any of this shit up. 300 baht buys you the sim and time. You figure out which on you want on your own okay.

As for mbk - there are a couple of very helpful chaps in safari suits outside who will be happy to help you with anything you want.
