Thread: Tickets to Koh Samui

Hi all,

I'm trying to arrange a flight to Samui from Bangkok. I'm in China so I am wondering if it would be cheaper to book from here or wait until I am in Bangkok. I checked Bangkok Air and for the early bird ticket it would cost about 5,700THB per person roundtrip. Seems like an ok price, but I don't have a credit card (never liked them)...so booking online is not really an option (of course I could get a credit card if it would save a lot of cash for the tickets). I've been searching the net for travel agents in Bangkok to get some idea of the price, but alas, I haven't had much luck.

I've also been thinking about taking the train...but it seems like quite a long journey and I don't like the idea of wasting time on the train when I could be on the island drinking a cold beer in an hour.

If anyone knows the current prices to fly from Bangkok to Samui please post them here. Any other information regarding transportation to Samui and even good hotels (2,000-3,500THB / night - it'll be my honeymoon) would be much appreciated.
