How to change a headlight bulb in a Yamaha Mio

Sounds like a joke right? How many Ajarners does it take to change a light bulb? Well .. we'll find out!

My bike is a Yamaha 2006 Mio Auto. For the life of me I can't see how to access the headlight bulb. I can't see any screws to remove the front plastic lens/cover thingy.

Can anyone shed some light on this problem? .. Thanks

PS .. I know I could take it to a shop and get it done .. anyway .. I went to a shop this afternoon and the guy said he could sell me a new bulb .. but no service. I said "mai pen rai .. I'll do it myself" ... Besides .. it would hurt my male pride too much to take the new bulb and bike to another shop for something so simple.

Manual/instruction Manual For Yamaha Mio - Thailand Forum

If you can log in Thai Visa you should be able to downlowd the entire manual here.

Alternately take it back to the shop cheapskate.

200 baht max plus the cost of the bulb. Seems like a no brainer. Get a drink, have a smoke, or whatever, just hang around long enough to see how they get in there.

If you cant find the fasteners you probably shouldnt be doing it, and will mess something up. Leave the Mio to the experts.

Thanks Russ .. but I downloaded that weeks ago .. it's just a parts list though.

Seeing as I've already bought the bulb (50 Baht) I'd like to do it myself ... if I can't find the answer .. well yeah .. I'll take to a shop. Being cheap has nothing to do with it .. I just like to be "hands on"

... but you have given me a clue .. "fasteners" .. I can see two of them .. plus one big plastic one .. but as you said .. I don't want to mess anything up. I guess it's off the the shop tomorrow.
