Car Rental

Hi,

I'm looking to rent a car and driver. I have only been able to find Limousine Thailand car rent, car rental, Airport transfer in Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang mai, Pattaya which has anything other than Toyotas etc.

Is there anywhere in BKK where I can hire a prestige car?

Best bet would be an up market toyota crown or something. Seriously noone is going to let a Benz be chauffered by some rice farmer from the boonies.

By prestige car I mean Aston Martins, Bentleys, Rolls Royces etc. I know in the UK it is quite easy to hire these cars for a few hundred pounds and was wondering whether it is possible in Thailand.

Ajarn.com might not be the best place to find information on renting a Bentley.
Mine's in the shop, but JD might lend you his.

If they do have these types of cars available for rent, I'd guess the price will be very expensive.

Yeah I know cars in Thailand are a lot more expensive than they are in Europe. I think you can hire a DB9 for the weekend in the UK for about £500 which is about 20-25k baht.

It would seem like this service is not available unfortunately. Oh well can't will them all.

You can hire a stretch limo in the UK if you've got a dozen pissed up tarts on a hen night all chipping in a tenner but who'd want to try and park it in soi 33?

The OP might be on to something here, it may make the ladies of soi 33 swoon. He may get lucky if he hires a stretch DB9 (is there such a thing?).

On the other hand, he could just pay his 1000 baht like every other fat, German, balding, tattooed gentleman of fine standing who dribbles from the corner of his mouth whilst coping a feel of his love's snatch in a darkened corner of The Office )never been to The Office so thus don't know if it has darkened corners, likewise girls of dubious virtue to cop a feel of....).
