What do ya know...I was there on Thursday and Friday; the accommodations were a bit mundane, but the island scenery was beautiful! Girlfriend got a jellyfish sting though. What days did you go?

Thurs-Sat. I agree, the accommodations were mundane, at best. Tough to beat that beach, though. It's as clean as it gets on that island. Sorry to hear about the mishap with the jellyfish.

haven't been there in years. are there still tatty but clean little bungalows available for peanuts on Samet, or has it all been bulldozed and replaced with bland luxury resorts?
