    Ao Wai Beach

If you're looking for an extremely quiet, and beautiful beach, Ao Wai, on Samet is the place.

    Outside the bungalow.

    Mom and the kids.

    The boy, and me.

Even at 7 years old, I can tell I'm headed for trouble.

ah, very good KC. It's always nice to have a face to go along with prose. You look like a scrapper. Or ex-scapper ...

    There was a time....

    ^^
Don, there were 5 of us, so they charged us 2,800 a night for the room. Add another 1,000 for food and beer. Definitely cheaper places on that island. Sure was quiet, though.

Yeah, Sam. Those are the ones. Samed Ville. Certainly nothing to write home about, but the beach is really nice.

Thanks forthe thread and recommendation. I've never been to Samet because I assumed it was crowded and noisy. I'll definitely take a look at that part of it for my next Thai vacation.

He looks kind. A much better reason to be nice to him.

The beach looks very nice, KC. The kids are growing up so fast. I always heard that Koh Samet beaches weren't the greatest. This one looks lovely though.

and, he is incredibly handsome (or at least he has extremely stylin' chin hairs, not that my own coiffure influences my opinion in any way of course).

I've still got that, tucked away in the back of the closet. I break it out from time to time, when I want to turn the old lady on.
