I agree, Dark Knight is incomparably better than Hellboy 2.

Just watched this, what a thrill.
One of the best flicks I've seen this year.
Big thumbs up

Re: Movies - what you seen and was it any good?
Bank Job 2/10 Same, same, I think there are only so many ways you can tell a bank job story.
Scene 1 The plan
Scene 2 The digging.
Scene 2b Someones coming.
Scene 3 O shit
Blah, blah blah.
Rise of the Footsoldier 8/10
It's about the gangsters that were found shot in the Range Rover in Rettendon in the 90's. If you like realistic violence and British movies you'll like this.
Storm Warning. 6/10
Aussie horror flick that has some inventive ways of butchering people.
Hancock 8/10
Loads of flaws, but kept me interested and wasn't the same superhero paint-by-numbers 20 minute finale.

If that's the one with Jason Statham in it then I really enjoyed it too.

Re: Movies - what you seen and was it any good?
We Own The Night (2007)
Joachin Phoenix, Mark Wahlberg, Robert Duvall
A New York nightclub manager tries to save his brother and father from Russian mafia hit men.
7/10. Another film I'd read plenty of mediocre reviews about but was pleasantly surprised. Quite an entertaining film. It's the classic wayward son realising the error of his ways and joining the police force (and his brother) to avenge his father's death (father was a well-respected chief of police) Film moves along at a good pace and a relatively exciting shoot-out at the end. Not one I'd rush to watch again but killed a couple of hours.

Yes it was. Statham is just made for those London boy petty criminal roles.

It's a fucking terrible film.
We Own The Night was pretty awful too sorry, Phil. Not in Rise Of The Footsoldier's league of shiteness but still weak as piss. When a movie sets out to achieve some degree of gritty reality it really can't be as horribly implausible as that film. At the end when Phoenix is given a badge and a gun by the police chief and is suddenly leading a swat team had me shaking my head and giving it the 'fuck off!'.

What didn't you like? I thought it pushed all the right buttons for a Brit ganagster flick.
I saw The Kite Runner last night. It's not usually my kinda film, but I was pleasantly suprised, in a 'how depressing' kinda way. 8/10
